Julie-Ann Marks
FOUNDER | Sound therapist
Hello! and welcome - I’m Julie-Ann, my friends call me Jules. I am a Sound Therapist Practitioner based in Wellington, New Zealand, and the founder of Resonant Sound Healing. Originally from Canada, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world through my previous careers in advertising, international events, and film productions, all of which were immersed in the creative realms. These fast-paced and overwhelming environments eventually took a toll on my mental health, leading to severe anxiety, depression, and burnout. This prompted me to follow my true calling in the healing arts. Exploring various healing modalities has always been a deep-rooted passion of mine. It was during my time in London, nine years ago, that I attended my first Sound Bath and discovered the transformative power of Sound Healing.
Upon relocating to New Zealand, seven years ago, I noticed a lack of accessible Sound Baths in my area. This realization was one of the motivating factors for me to pursue my certification as a Sound Therapist Practitioner in 2021. My goal is to bridge the gap and make Sound Healing more accessible to a wider audience, and share my profound passion for vibrational medicine with the masses.
